Ord River Marathon

The Ord River Marathon is a spectacular 55km Dragonboat paddle down the mighty Ord river, from the Lake Argyle Dam wall to Lilly Creek Lagoon, Kununurra.
The Event is usually held in June and hosted by Kununurra Dragonboat Club.

Like-minded people come together to have a great time enjoying the enthralling Kimberly environment whilst making amazing memories.
The Event is not a race - it is a unique event where all teams support each other.
The boats are aluminium and involve 16 paddlers and a Sweep.
The start is at dawn with breakfast at Lake Argyle, morning tea at Carlton Gorge camp at 21km, and lunch at Crossing Falls 47km mark.

The sense of accomplishment makes the 55km well worth it.
